Fluffy american pancakes

250 gr. white flour

10 gr. baking powder

1/2 tsp. salt

3 tbsp. granulated sugar

1 pack of vanilla powder

340 ml. buttermilk (if you don’t have buttermilk, in a 340 ml of milk add the juice of 1/2 lemon, stir and wait 1o min)

2 eggs

3 eggwhites

3 tbsp. sunflower oil

Toppings of your choice

Mix the flour, baking powder, salt, granulated sugar and vanilla powder. Add the 2 eggs and oil to the buttermilk and mix. Beat the eggwhites until stiff peaks form. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until homogenous. In stages add the beated eggwhites, so that they puff the dough. Over medium heat in a non-stick pan add a few drops of sunflower oil (or butter) and pour some of the mixture, so that it forms a circle. Once bubbles start to appear on top of the pancake, then it is time to turn it over.  Serve with toppings of your choice.
